Graphite Pencil Portraits

Graphite pencils are my first love and I have many many examples of my work in this gallery. 

I have completed pet portraits, dogs, cats, horses, as well as motorcycles!

From fur and tails to chrome and engines, I have done artwork of a variety of subjects.  My aim is to always go past the reference photo and create a timeless work of art that will be treasured for generations to come.  

Materials used in a graphite drawing:

• Bristol Smooth & Vellum Paper, 300 Series

  • Acid free, heavy weight, and 100 Lb. grade

• Faber Castel Pencils

  • 2b, 4b, 6b, & 8b to get all the correct shading in

• Blending Tools
